I can provide documentation that I meet the income requirements for the size of my family and realize failure to prove this income makes me unqualified for the program. |
Do you have proof of one year of continuous income? |
Do you have a minimum Credit Score of 640 or above? |
Can you certify that it has been at least 18 months since you discharged any bankruptcies, and are you making regular, on-time payments on your debts? |
Do you have a need for housing because your current housing is unaffordable, unsafe, or overcrowded? |
Are you willing to agree to the savings requirements for closing costs? |
Are you willing to partner with Habitat for Humanity and contribute a minimum of 250 hours of "sweat equity," helping to build your home as well as other families' homes, and attend educational workshops? |
Are you willing to submit the following documents in order to apply? |
- 2 months of pay stubs
- Three previous year’s tax returns
- Bank statements and account numbers for all accounts held
- Copies of all monthly bills and expenses
- Verification of rent from landlord
- Two personal references (from employer, pastor or other professional)
Are you willing to have a criminal background check to show that you have not committed a felony or have been dishonorably discharged from the military? |
If you have answered NO to any of the questions above, unfortunately, you will not be able to qualify for the Habitat Homeownership Program.
