A Sound Investment in a Family's Future
Help us help Elizabeth and her family realize their home!
Our next homebuyer, Elizabeth, a single mother of five children, is currently living in substandard housing that is too small for her family and is over her budget. She is in a situation where she does not have enough bedrooms for her family and her rent is very high and rising each year. She was homeless for a bit until she found her current rental and is fearful of becoming homeless again, due to the lack of affordability of housing in Culpeper County.
Elizabeth’s new home will be two levels and have five bedrooms and two bathrooms and plenty of space for her family. She is so very appreciative for the opportunity to participate in the Habitat process of building her home and is naturally thrilled at the prospect of homeownership to secure her future and her children’s future success in life.
Having this Habitat for Humanity house built is such a huge blessing for this family as they would not had the opportunity to have a place of their own if it wasn’t for this organization and the community. They are nothing but grateful!
