Habitat for Humanity offers programs and services beyond local volunteer opportunities, including:

Homeownership Build Program

Habitat for Humanity of Culpeper County partners with hardworking families to build strength, self-reliance, and stability through affordable homeownership.  Our Homeownership program is for first-time homebuyers who live in the town of Culpeper or Culpeper County that want to realize the dream of homeownership, but may not qualify for a conventional mortgage. Becoming a Habitat homeowner requires commitment, responsibility and deep involvement building your home and future.

Critical Home Repair Program

Habitat for Humanity of Culpeper County helps homeowners in the town of Culpeper and Culpeper County, with financial need, perform critical, affordable, emergency repairs on their homes.  Our repair program focuses on home preservation and helps preserve affordable housing. Such repairs in the past have included repairing roofs, installing security fences, repairing and installing HVAC, building handicap ramps, building egress steps, and installing hot water heaters.
